Daughtry win big at AMAs
Daughtry, the band brought into the public eye by American Idol, won three American Music Awards last night, winning in their three nominated categories for Favourite Pop/Rock album, Breakthrough artist and Adult Contemporary Artist.
Johnny Panic announce dates with Qui
Johnny Panic have been announced as the support band to LA's punk noise mongers Qui when they hit Water Rats in London on Sat 24th Nov.
Having received critical acclaim for their new album 'The Good Fight', the band are hitting the road for some shows.
The band also have a number of upcoming support slots with The Wildhearts along with a handful of Christmas

Timbaland to be a father
Timbaland is about to become a father, it has been claimed.
The hip-hop mogul is reportedly expecting a baby girl with a woman who works for his record label Mosley Music Group.
A source said: "They are not a couple but Timbaland has promised to be involved in the child's upbringing.
"He's very excited about the baby and has been very supportive to the mother."
The baby is said to be due at the end of November, although no other details have been revealed.
A representative for Timbaland refused to comment.
The 36-year-old star - real name Timothy Mosley - is currently working with Madonna on her new album, due out next year.
Timbaland - who joined Justin Timberlake on his 'FutureSex/LoveShow' tour this summer - has previously been romantically linked to Nelly Furtado. He masterminded her worldwide hit album 'Loose', and the pair were believed to have grown close while making the record.
50 Cent shocks Indian fans
50 Cent shocked Indian fans by unzipping his trousers during an online interview.
The 'Candy Shop' rapper, who was being quizzed by South Asian fusion website desihits.com, caused uproar by making the sexually provocative motion while being taught chat up lines.
As 50 was shown how to say 'Beautiful Girl' in Hindi, he loosened his flies and interrupted: "Everyone around the world knows sign language. I am looking forward to coming to India. Every country I have been to, even if I don't speak the language, people know what I mean when I do this."
The visibly stunned male interviewer covered his face with his hands as he said: "Stop 50, you are really embarrassing me. I can't believe 50 just tried to show us his wicket!"
The presenter hastily made 50 return to his seat before cutting to a music video.
One horrified female viewer said: "What 50 did was totally unacceptable. I couldn't believe he could be so inappropriate during an interview."
50 also revealed he is set to release his own range of incense.
The hip-hop star is considering launching a line of aromatic oils and sticks under the name '50 Scent'.
He said: "You know what, this could be cool. I like this idea."

An arrest warrant has been issued for the plastic surgeon who operated on KANYE WEST's mother the day before she died.
Dr. Jan Adams failed to show up at Los Angeles County Superior Court on Friday morning (16Nov07) for a hearing with a disgruntled former patient.
Lori Ufondu won a $100,000 (GBP50,000) judgment after Dr. Adams left gauze in her breast following a boob job - her lawyer called Friday's meeting after the doctor failed to pay up.
West's mother, Donda, died in hospital on Saturday (10Nov07) following possible complications from a tummy tuck and breast reduction operation Dr. Adams carried out on Friday (09Nov07).

Britney's cherry popped at 14
Britney Spears lost her virginity at the age of 14, it has been claimed.
The troubled star - who once vowed to remain a virgin until her wedding night - allegedly had her first sexual experience with her childhood sweetheart Reg Jones while she was still a teenager.
Eric Ervin, who worked with Britney in the early part of her career, said her "virgin" image was a "PR blitz" and she was sexually active before she achieved pop superstardom.
He also claims in an article with Us Weekly magazine Britney's relationship with Justin Timberlake was intimate from the very beginning, despite the 'Toxic' singer claiming otherwise.
It has also been revealed Britney's paternal grandmother, Emma Jean Spears, committed suicide in 1966 when she was just 31.
Emma, whose son Jamie is Britney's father, suffered from depression and shot herself in the chest at the grave of her infant son, who had died eight years earlier just three days after he was born.
A local newspaper article reported at the time: "The shotgun had been pressed against the woman's chest and she apparently pulled the trigger with a toe of the right foot from which a shoe had been removed." Meanwhile, Britney is increasing her security in a bid to win back her two children.
The 'Gimme More' singer - who lost custody of Sean Preston, two, and 14-month-old Jayden James to ex-husband Kevin Federline last month - believes she needs to protect her boys more from the constant paparazzi attention she receives.
Her lawyer said: "Recent aggressive actions by individuals who have followed (Spears) and blocked her access, with and without the children, have resulted in her decision to take certain security measures which she hopes will only be necessary temporarily, for the protection of the children."
